The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued an exemption in response to a request dated January 29, 2025, as supplemented on June 9, 2025, from Constellation Energy Generation, LLC, that authorizes leak rate testing of the main steam isolation valves at a pressure lower than the calculated peak containment internal pressure related to the Nine Mile Point, Unit 2, design basis accident loss-of-coolant accident as specified in the Technical Specifications.
