Your sample will be returned as requested. Style 42MO486 is a women’s jacket with a shell composed of a 100% polyester knit fabric coated with polyurethane plastic that completely obscures the underlying fabric, quilted to a nonwoven polyester batting insulation. Based on the information you provided, the garment is made from quilted fabric in the piece, which is excluded from heading 6113, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS). The fully lined jacket features a full front opening secured with a zipper closure, long tapered sleeves with zipper closures at the wrist area, and zipper pockets below the waist. The applicable subheading for the style 42MO486 will be 6102.30.2010, HTSUS, which provides for Women’s or girls’ overcoats, carcoats, capes, cloaks, anoraks (including ski-jackets), windbreakers and similar articles, knitted or crocheted, other than those of heading 6104: Of man-made fibers: Other: Other: Women’s. The rate of duty will be 28.2 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
