Dear Mr. Hoffacker: In your letter, dated May 16, 2001, you requested a classification ruling on behalf of your client, Consolidated Stores, Inc., Columbus, OH. You have submitted a color photograph of a glass Christmas wreath, item HG1140. The components are pieces of stained glass (in the shapes and colors of green leaves and red berries), and they are enclosed in a metal frame. The glass wreath is comprised of two concentric circles: the green glass leaves form the outer ring and the red glass berries form the inner ring. The applicable subheading for glass Christmas wreaths will be 9505.10.2500, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for festive, carnival or other entertainment articles, including magic tricks and practical joke articles; parts and accessories thereof, articles for Christmas festivities and parts and accessories thereof, Christmas ornaments, other, other. The rate of duty will be free. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 CFR 177). A copy of the ruling or the control number indicated above should be provided with the entry documents filed at the time this merchandise is imported.
