Dear Mr. Henderson: In your letter dated April 23, 1999, you requested an amendment of classification ruling NY E80164 which was issued to you on April 13, 1999 from this office. You have brought to our attention that the wrong fiber content was submitted by your office for style 603324. In the original ruling NY E80164, the fiber content for style 603324 was listed as having an exterior surface of 100% polyester sheer fabric. In light of the new information, the correct fiber content for style 603324 should read 65% nylon and 35% polyester. All other information in the original letter remains the same. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177). A copy of this supplement and the original ruling letter should be attached to the entry documents filed at the time this merchandise is imported. If the documents have been filed without a copy, this ruling should be brought to the attention of the Customs officer handling the transaction.
