Certain Refrigeration Compressors From the Republic of Singapore; Notice of Rescission of Countervailing Duty Suspension Agreement Administrative Review

On December 23, 1998 the Department of Commerce (the Department) initiated the fifteenth administrative review of the countervailing duty suspension agreement on certain refrigeration compressors from the Republic of Singapore. The period of review was April 1, 1997, through March 31, 1998. The initiation was in response to a request made on November 30, 1998, by the Government of the Republic of Singapore (the GOS), Asia Matsushita Electric (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (AMS), an exporter of subject merchandise, and Matsushita Refrigeration Industries (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (MARIS), a producer of subject merchandise. This review has now been rescinded as a result of the withdrawal of the request for administrative review by the GOS, AMS and MARIS, as no other interested party has requested a review.
