Pure Magnesium From the People's Republic of China: Final Results of Antidumping Duty New Shipper Administrative Review

On October 23, 1997, the Department of Commerce published the preliminary results of the new shipper administrative review of the antidumping duty order on pure magnesium from the People's Republic of China (62 FR 55215). This review covers one manufacturer/exporter of the subject merchandise to the United States, Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Import and Export Corporation, and the period of review is May 1, 1996, through October 31, 1996. We gave interested parties an opportunity to comment on our preliminary results. We have determined that U.S. sales have been made below the normal value, and we will instruct the U.S. Customs Service to assess antidumping duties based on the difference between Export Price and Normal Value.
