SUMMARY: The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) and the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) have determined that revocation of the antidumping duty (AD) order on pure magnesium from the People's Republic of China would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping and material injury to industry in the United States. Therefore, Commerce is publishing a notice of continuation of the AD order on pure magnesium from the People's Republic of China. DATES: Applicable May 25, 2023. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Background On May 12, 1995, Commerce published in the Federal Register the AD order on pure magnesium from the People's Republic of China. [ 1 ] On March 1, 2022, Commerce published the notice of initiation of the sunset review of the Order, pursuant to section 751(c) of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended (the Act).
