On January 10, 1996, the Coast Guard published on Interim Final Rule (IFR) containing a complete revision to the regulations governing small passenger vessels. As discussed below, the Coast Guard will hold four public meetings on the dates and at the locations specified below in order to give the public an opportunity for oral presentations.
