The Department of Energy provides notice that the comment period is reopened on a proposal to amend the energy conservation standards for refrigerators, refrigerator-freezers, and freezers (refrigerator products). The Department is reopening the comment period on this proposal to obtain further comment on issues related to the appropriate consideration of the relationship between regulations under the Clean Air Act banning manufacture of hydrochlorofluorocarbon-141b (HCFC-141b) and the effective date and revised standard levels for DOE efficiency standards.
