SUMMARY: The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily finds that acetone from the Republic of Korea (Korea) was sold at less than normal value (NV) during the period of review (POR) March 1, 2023, through February 29, 2024. Commerce preliminarily finds that the producer/exporter subject to this review made sales of subject merchandise at less than normal value. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Background On March 31, 2020, Commerce published in the Federal Register the antidumping duty (AD) order on acetone from Korea. [ 1 ] On March 1, 2024, Commerce published in the Federal Register a notice of opportunity to request an administrative review of the Order for the POR. [ 2 ] On May 8, 2024, based on timely request for a review, in accordance with 19 CFR 351.221(c)(1)(i) , we initiated an administrative review of the Order with respect to Kumho P&B Chemicals, Inc.
