SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Background On May 21, 1999, Commerce published in the Federal Register the antidumping duty (AD) Order on stainless steel plate in coils from Belgium. [ 1 ] On May 2, 2024, Commerce published in the Federal Register a notice of opportunity to request an administrative review of the Order for the POR. [ 2 ] On July 5, 2024, based on timely requests for review and in accordance with section 751(a)(1) of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended (the Act), and 19 CFR 351.221(c)(1)(i) , Commerce initiated an administrative review of the Order covering five exporters and/or producers.
