Abstract

The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) finds that revocation of the countervailing duty orders on glycine from India and the People's Republic of China (China) would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of countervailable subsidies at the levels as indicated in the "Final Results of Sunset Reviews" section of this notice.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Background On June 21, 2019, Commerce published the Orders in the Federal Register . [ 1 ] On May 1, 2024, Commerce published the notice of initiation of the first sunset reviews of the Orders, pursuant to section 751(c) of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended (the Act). [ 2 ] On May 13, 2024, Commerce received a timely notice of intent to participate in the sunset reviews of both Orders from Deer Park Glycine and Chattem Chemicals, Inc.
