SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Petitions On March 28, 2018, the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) received countervailing duty (CVD) Petitions concerning imports of glycine from China, India, and Thailand, and antidumping duty (AD) Petitions concerning imports of glycine from India, Japan, and Thailand filed in proper form on behalf of GEO Specialty Chemicals, Inc. and Chattem Chemicals, ( printed page 18003) Inc. (the petitioners). [ 1 ] The petitioners are domestic producers of glycine. [ 2 ] On April 2, 2018, Commerce requested supplemental information pertaining to certain areas of the Petitions. [ 3 ] The petitioners filed responses to these requests on April 4 and 5, 2018. [ 4 ] On April 10, 2018, the petitioners submitted certain revisions to the scope.
