SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Background On January 3, 2018, Commerce published the CVD order on certain softwood lumber from Canada. [ 1 ] On May 11, 2023, the petitioner requested that Commerce initiate a CCR of the Order, pursuant to section 751(b)(1) of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended (the Act), 19 CFR 351.216 , and 19 CFR 251.221(c)(3) . [ 2 ] Specifically, the petitioner requests that Commerce determine that Interfor Corporation, EACOM Timber Corporation, Chaleur Forest Products Inc., and Chaleur Forest Products LP are cross-owned entities.
