SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Petitions On December 31, 2013, the Department of Commerce (the Department) received antidumping duty (AD) petitions concerning imports of certain crystalline silicon photovoltaic products (certain solar cells and panels) from the People's Republic of China (PRC) and Taiwan. [ 1 ] The Petitions were filed in proper form on behalf of SolarWorld Industries America, Inc. (Petitioner). Petitioner is a domestic producer of solar cells and panels. The Petitions were accompanied by a countervailing duty (CVD) petition on imports of certain solar cells and panels from the PRC. On January 3, 6, 9 and 10, 2014, the Department requested additional information and clarification of certain areas of the Petitions. Petitioner filed responses to these requests on January 8, 9, 13, 15, and 17, 2014.
