The United States Patent and Trademark Office (Office or USPTO) is updating the procedures regarding recognition to practice before the Office in patent cases. The update is done to take advantage of computerized delivery of examinations, and to enable registration applicants to benefit in several ways, including scheduling the examination a their convenience and having more opportunities to take the examination.
