Lauderdale, FL 33301 RE: The tariff classification of a wastebasket from China Dear Mr. Crago: In your letter dated April 13, 2006, on behalf of Corporate Express, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The merchandise is a black wastebasket made of steel wire mesh (item number W093SA00207). It measures approximately 11.5 inches in diameter and 14 inches in height. The applicable subheading for the wastebasket will be 7326.20.0070, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for other articles of iron or steel, articles of iron or steel wire, other. The rate of duty will be 3.9 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
