Solifenacin Succinate, imported in dosages of 5 mg and 10 mg tablets, is a muscarinic receptor antagonist that reduces muscle spasms of the bladder muscles. It is indicated for the treatment of overactive bladder with symptoms of urge urinary incontinence (UUI), urgency and urinary frequency. The applicable subheading for Solifenacin Succinate Tablets in dosage form will be 3004.90.9290, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Medicaments … consisting of mixed or unmixed products for therapeutic or prophylactic uses, put up in measured doses … or in forms or packings for retail sale: Other: Other: Other: Other.” The rate of duty will be free.
