Pregabalin imported in dosages of 25 mg, 50 mg and 75 mg capsules is a medication in the gabapentinoid class. It is indicated for the management of neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy, management of postherpetic neuralgia, and for the treatment of partial onset seizures. The applicable subheading for the Pregabalin Capsules in dosage form will be 3004.90.9230, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Medicaments (…) consisting of mixed or unmixed products for therapeutic or prophylactic uses, put up in measured doses (…) or in forms or packings for retail sale: Other: Other: Other: Medicaments primarily affecting the central nervous system: Anticonvulsants, hypnotics and sedatives.” The rate of duty will be free.
