Ingredients breakdown, manufacturing flowchart, a narrative description of the manufacturing process, and the product label accompanied your inquiry. The product K-21 Mineral Supplement is said to contain approximately 77 percent spring water, 10 percent glycerin, 5 percent potassium citrate, 5 percent various plant extract concentrates, 1 percent calcium, and trace amounts of magnesium, potassium, iron, iodine, methylparaben, propylparaben, caramel color, flavor, and potassium hydroxide. The product is said to function as a dietary supplement that provides the maintenance of good health. The directions instruct the user to consume 1 tablespoon twice a day. The product is imported for retail sale in in 34 fluid ounce bottles, net weight. The applicable subheading for the products will be 2106.90.9898, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for food preparations not elsewhere specified or included . . . other . . . other . . . other . . . other . . . other . . . other. The general rate of duty will be 6.4 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
