Pickering Benchmark Export Services, Inc. 108A Erickson Avenue Essington, PA 19029 RE: The tariff classification of fiberglass reinforced plastic grating from China Dear Mr. Pickering: In your letter dated September 15, 2016, you requested a tariff classification ruling on behalf of your client, Bedford Reinforced Plastics. The product to be imported is fiberglass reinforced plastic grating that will be used in the construction of walkways, platforms, stairs and flooring systems. We find that the subject merchandise is similar to the grating ruled upon in NY N019774 dated November 29, 2007. The applicable subheading for the fiberglass reinforced plastic grating will be 3925.90.0000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for Builders’ ware of plastics, not elsewhere specified or included: Other. The rate of duty will be 5.3 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change. You have asked whether this product is subject to antidumping duties or countervailing duties (AD/CVD).
