N264396 May 29, 2015 CLA-2-94:OT:RR:NC:N4:110 CATEGORY: Classification TARIFF NO.: 9405.99.4090 Ms. Lauren Benway Trans-Border Global Freight Systems, Inc. 2103 Route 9 Round Lake, NY 12151 RE: The tariff classification of light fixtures and track lighting parts from China Dear Ms. Benway: In your letter dated April 28, 2015, on behalf of your client KCD Solutions LLC, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The submitted samples are parts of light fixtures and track lighting. Item #S2-08803, LM16 Socket Lamp Bracket is made of aluminum and used to keep the track lighting bulbs aligned. Item #S2-09400, 238/239 Rotation Lock is made of steel used and spot welded as an internal component to lighting fixtures. Item #S2-09415, Spring Clip Accessory Holder is made of stainless steel and used to hold accessory rings in the light fixtures. Item #S2-08998, 216 Accessory Spring is made of stainless steel and used to hold accessory rings in the light fixtures. The applicable subheading for the Items #S2-08803, #S2-09400, #S2-09415, and #S2-08998, will be 9405.99.4090, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for "Lamps and lighting fittings…and parts thereof not elsewhere specified or included: Parts: Other: Other." The general rate of duty will be 6 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
