N262502 March 30, 2015 CLA-2-42:OT:RR:NC:42:441 CATEGORY: Classification TARIFF NO.: 4202.92.9026 Justin Gorman Kinsey’s Archery 1660 Steel Way Drive Mount Joy, PA 17552 RE: The tariff classification of a bow case from China Dear Mr. Gorman: In your letter, which was received in this office on March 9, 2015, you requested a tariff classification ruling. You have submitted one sample, which is being returned to you. Item 13037 is a case for a bow constructed with an outer surface of man-made textile materials. It is designed to provide storage, protection, organization and portability to one bow. It is specifically shaped for one bow. The interior is textile-lined. It measures approximately 26” (W) x 8.5” (H) x 2” (D). The applicable subheading for the bow case will be 4202.92.9026, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides, in part, for other containers and cases, with outer surface man-made textile material. The rate of duty will be 17.6 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
