The ruling was requested on two solid wood panels. Two representative samples were submitted for our review. The first submitted sample is a solid, rectangular wood panel measuring approximately 2 ½” (w) x ¾” thick. You state that the panels will be imported in random lengths of 11 1/8” to 47 1/8”. The panel is composed of Taeda pine and is continuously shaped on its edges, ends, and face. It has a 4mm deep, 13mm wide groove cut along the length of its face. One edge of the panel is shaped with a continuous groove, the corners along the face are nosed, and the ends are rabbeted and beveled.
