Ingredients information accompanied your October inquiry. A sample and additional information were provided with your November letter. The sample was examined and disposed of. Trader Joe’s Breakfast Scramble of Eggs, Potatoes & Onions is a prepared, single serving frozen meal, composed of 46 percent scrambled omelet (egg white, whole eggs, canola oil, water, skim milk, corn flour, salt, thickeners, and citric acid), 25 percent pre-fried potatoes, 17 percent grilled onions, and 12 percent sauce (water, butter, basil, parsley, salt, palm oil or sunflower oil, black pepper extract, modified starch, and thickeners), packed in a plastic tray with a film cover for retail sale containing 8 ounces (227 grams), net weight. The product needs to be heated in microwave before serving. The applicable subheading for the product will be 2106.90.9995, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for food preparations not elsewhere specified or included …other … other … frozen. The rate of duty will be 6.4 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
