Dear Ms. Lopez: In your letter dated March 16, 2012, you requested a tariff classification ruling. As requested, your sample will be returned. Style DN2126AB is a men’s cut and sewn cardigan constructed from 92% cotton, 8% nylon finely knit interlock fabric that measures 32 stitches per 2 centimeters counted in the horizontal direction. Style DN2126AB features a notched collar with lapels; a full front opening with a one button closure; long sleeves with self-fabric banded cuffs; vertical welt pockets below the waist; a hemmed bottom on the center portion of the front panels; and a self-fabric bottom band encircling the remainder of the garment bottom. The applicable subheading for Style DN2126AB will be 6110.20.2069, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, (HTSUS), which provides for: sweaters, pullovers, sweatshirts, waistcoats (vests) and similar articles, knitted or crocheted: Of cotton: Other: Other: Other: Men's or boys': Other.
