Your submitted sample is being returned upon your request. The merchandise under consideration is referred to as a USB HUB 4, sku number 10050883. It is comprised of plastic and metal, designed in the shape of a mouse with eyes, ears and four attached yet moveable legs measuring 4 inches in length by 4 inches in width. Each leg features a standard 2.0 female universal serial bus (USB) port that accepts type A plugs and supports all USB devices. The USB HUB 4 allows up to four peripheral devices to be connected to a personal computer (PC) simultaneously. The mouse-shaped item has its own four-foot cord with a male USB Type A plug located in the rear of the figure, designed as its tail, and used for connecting the USB HUB 4 to a PC. The USB HUB 4 receives its power from the computer’s USB port bus and its eyes light up when in use. The applicable subheading for the USB HUB 4, sku number 10050883, will be 8471.80.1000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for "Automatic data processing machines and units thereof…Other units of automatic data processing machines: control or adapter units." The rate of duty will be Free. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
