N047337 December 18, 2008 CLA-2-62:OT:RR:NC:TA:360 CATEGORY: Classification TARIFF NO.: 6211.42.0081 Mr. Jimmy Ching Dress Barn/Maurices Inc. 30 Dunnigan Drive Suffern, NY 10901 RE: The tariff classification of a woman’s upper body garment from Indonesia Dear Mr. Ching: In your letter dated December 15, 2008, you requested a classification ruling. The submitted sample will be returned as requested. Style 4783 is a woman’s camisole constructed from 100 percent cotton woven fabric. The garment features a shaped front neckline, 1 ½ inch wide shoulder straps and a full front opening secured by ten buttons. The top back edge is cut straight across from side seam to side seam. The applicable subheading for the camisole will be 6211.42.0081, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for track suits, ski-suits and swimwear; other garments: other garments, women’s or girls’: of cotton: other. The duty rate will be 8.1 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
