The subject product, (S)-4-Bromostyrene oxide, also known as Oxirane, 2-(4-bromophenyl)-, (2S)-, is a halogenated derivative of an aromatic epoxide indicated for use as a pharmaceutical intermediate.  The applicable subheading for (S)-4-Bromostyrene oxide will be 2910.90.2000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for Epoxides, epoxyalcohols, epoxyphenols and epoxyethers, with a three-membered ring, and their halogenated, sulfonated, nitrated or nitrosated derivatives: Other: Other: Aromatic. The rate of duty will be 5.5 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
