The subject product, Methotrexate Injection, USP, 25 mg/mL, is an injectable medicament, supplied in 2 mL, 10 mL, and 40 mL single-use vials, containing Methotrexate (CAS-59-05-2), an antineoplastic and immunosuppressive drug, as the active ingredient. The applicable subheading for the subject product will be 3004.90.9115, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Medicaments … consisting of mixed or unmixed products for therapeutic or prophylactic uses, put up in measured doses … or in forms or packings for retail sale: Other: Other: Other: Antineoplastic and immunosuppressive medicaments.” The rate of duty will be free.
