Malina Lands’ End, Inc. 2 Lands’ End Lane Location #22-290 Dodgeville, WI 53595 RE: The tariff classification of a woman’s pullover from Turkey Dear Ms. Malina: In your letter dated July 14, 2006, you requested a classification ruling. The submitted sample will be returned to you as requested. Style 179025 is a woman’s finely knit, 92 percent cotton and 8 percent spandex sleeveless pullover that features a V-neckline embellished with beading. The component pieces are cut and sewn. The outer surface of the fabric measures more than 18 stitches per 2 centimeters. The applicable subheading for the pullover will be 6110.20.2079, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for sweaters, pullovers, sweatshirts, waistcoats (vests) and similar articles, knitted or crocheted: of cotton: other: other: women’s or girls’: other. The duty rate will be 16.5 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
