Dear Ms. Kwok: In your letter dated June 13, 2006, you requested a classification ruling. The sample will be returned to you as requested. The submitted sample, Ref: ORE1906-517A is a pair of socks made of knit 94% cotton/6% spandex. The bootie style sock has printing at the bottom and appears to be used in Reflexology. The applicable subheading for the socks, Ref:)ORE1906-517A will be 6115.92.9000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for "Panty hose, tights, stockings, socks and other hosiery…knitted or crocheted: Other: Of cotton: Other: Other." The duty rate will be 13.5% ad valorem. The textile category is 332. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
