NY M84266 June 20, 2006 CLA-2-61:RR:NC:TA:359 M84266 CATEGORY: Classification TARIFF NO.: 6110.20.2079 Anna Louie Cache Inc. 1440 Broadway New York, NY 10018 RE: The tariff classification of a sleeveless pullover for ladies’ wear from China Dear Ms. Louie: In your letter dated June 13, 2006 you requested a classification ruling. Submitted style 50700, manufactured from beaded, rib-knitted fabric of 60% cotton/20% metallic/15% spandex, is a high-necked garment that zippers together vertically at the back of the neckline. As you have requested, the sample garment and its accompanying components are being returned. Because the armhole and neckband components are not knit to shape, the applicable subheading for this style will be 6110.20.2079, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for sweaters, pullovers…, knitted…, of cotton, other, other, other, women’s…, other. The duty rate will be 16.5 per cent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change. The text of the most recent HTSUS and the accompanying duty rates are provided on World Wide Web at http://www.usitc.gov/tata/hts/. This pullover falls within textile category designation 339.
