LTD, you requested a classification ruling. Characteristics of submitted style 08-1286-7 (Item#27037), manufactured from knitted fabric of 100% acrylic that is ornamented by bugels, are long sleeves, a round neckline, and a full-front, buttoned opening. As you have requested, the sample garment and its accompanying component parts are being returned. Because the capping on this garment is not knit to shape, the applicable subheading for it will be 6110.30.3059, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for sweaters…knitted…of man-made fibers, other, other, other, other, other, women’s…,, other. The duty rate will be 32 per cent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
