Boullet Columbia Sportswear Company 14375 NW Science Park Drive Portland, OR 97229 RE: The tariff classification of a woman’s blouse from China, India or Sri Lanka Dear Ms. Boullet: In your letter dated January 12, 2006, you requested a classification ruling. The submitted sample will be returned to you as requested. Style AL7078 is a woman’s blouse constructed from 90 percent cotton and 10 percent polyester woven fabric. The pullover blouse is sleeveless and features a V-neckline with a keyhole opening below secured by a drawstring closure and side vents with two button closures. The applicable subheading for the blouse will be 6206.30.3040, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for women’s or girls’ blouses, shirts and shirt-blouses: of cotton: other: other: other: women’s. The duty rate will be 15.4 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
