N,O-Dimethylhydroxylamine hydrochloride, CAS 6638-79-5, also known as Methanamine, N-methoxy-, hydrochloride, is a bulk pharmaceutical intermediate. The applicable subheading for N,O-Dimethylhydroxylamine hydrochloride will be 2928.00.5000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for Organic derivatives of hydrazine or hydroxylamine: Other: Other. The rate of duty will be 6.5 percent ad valorem. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
