Undecylenic acid, CAS 112-38-9, also known as 10-Undecenoic acid, is a bulk pharmaceutical intermediate. The applicable subheading for Undecylenic acid will be 2916.19.3000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for Unsaturated acyclic monocarboxylic acids, their anhydrides, halides, peroxides, peroxyacids and their derivatives: Other. The rate of duty will be 6.1 percent ad valorem. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
