The submitted samples, style P21750098, P21930748 and P21980688, are women100% wool knit garments. Style P21750098 is a womens cardigan, which has more than nine stitches per two centimeters when counted in the horizontal direction. The cardigan features a full front opening secured by a zipper; a hood with a drawstring; long, hemmed sleeves; a hemmed bottom, and two half welt pockets below the waist. Style P21930748 is a womenblazer, which features a vee neck, a full front opening secured by a hook and eye at the base of the vee, a single back panel, two side panels and two front panels, and braid trim around the neck, down each side of the front opening, around the bottom and at the cuffs. Style P21980688 is a womensweater, which has fewer than nine stitches per two centimeters when counted in the horizontal direction. The sweater features a full front opening secured by five buttons; a round neck; long, hemmed sleeves, and a hemmed bottom. The applicable subheading for the cardigan will be 6110.10.2080, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for womenwool sweater-like garments. The rate of duty will be 16.5%. The applicable subheading for the blazer will be 6104.31.0000, (HTS), which provides for womenwool blazers. The rate of duty will be 61.6 cents per kg and 18%. The applicable subheading for the sweater will be 6110.10.2030, (HTS), which provides for womenwool sweaters. The rate of duty will be 16.5%. COMMENT1The cardigan falls within textile category designation 438. The jacket falls within textile category designation 435. The sweater falls within textile category designation 446. Based upon international textile trade agreements, products of Hong Kong are subject to quota and the requirement of a visa. The designated textile and apparel categories may be subdivided into parts. If so, visa and quota requirements applicable to the subject merchandise may be affected. Part categories are the result of international bilateral agreements which are subject to frequent renegotiations and changes. To obtain the most current information available, we suggest that you check, close to the time of shipment, the Status Report on Current Import Quotas (Restraint Levels), an internal issuance of the U.S. Customs Service, which is available for inspection at your local Customs office. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
