These heat sensitive spoons are made of plastic with the ends of the handles shaped like bear heads. If the food is too hot, the color of the spoons will change from green to yellow. When the food is cool, the color of the spoon remains green. The set is packaged on a blister card covered with clear plastic. The third sample, item #216, is a "First Steps" three piece weaning spoon set. The plastic spoons are heat sensitive and change from their original green color to yellow when food is too hot. If the food is cool, there is no change in the color of the spoon. The spoons are packaged on a blister card covered with plastic.
