Dear Mr. Mlawski: This is an amendment to Ruling No. B80899, dated January 22, 1997. The ruling, issued to you on behalf of your client Merck & Co., inadvertently stated that Thiabendazole was dutiable at the rate of 2.6 cents per kilogram plus 13.3 percent ad valorem. Please be advised that pursuant to General Note 13 to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule this product is duty free. All other facts stated in the original ruling remain the same.
