The applicable subheading for 4,4'-Biphenyl dicarboxylic acid also known as [1,1-Biphenyl]-4,4'-dicarboxylic acid will be 2917.39.7000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for. The rate of duty will be 16 percent ad valorem. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
