Chlorhexidine gluconate BP is an antimicrobial agent used as the active ingredient in antibacterial drug preparations. The applicable subheading for the chlorhexidine gluconate BP will be 2925.20.2000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for Imines and their derivatives; salts thereof, aromatic, other, drugs-function compounds. The rate of duty will be 8.1 percent ad valorem This merchandise may be subject to the regulations of the Food and Drug Administration.
