Baclofen a drug in bulk form will be used in the manufacture of a formulated muscle relaxant. The applicable subheading for the Baclofen in bulk form will be 2922.49.2500, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for oxygen-function amino compounds, other, aromatic, other, drugs. The duty rate will be 7 percent ad valorem. This merchandise may be subject to the regulations of the Food and Drug Administration. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Section 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
