Morantel Tartrate, a base drug, is a heterocyclic compound in bulk form containing pyrimidine and thiophene rings and used in the preparation of anthelmintic drugs. The applicable subheading for the Morantel Tartrate will be 2934.90.4700, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for other drugs of other, other heterocyclic compounds. The rate of duty will be 3.7 percent ad valorem. This merchandise may be subject to the regulations of the Food and Drug Administration.
