DATE OF INQUIRY : September 20, 1990 ON BEHALF OF : Festival Foods, East Brunswick, NJ DESCRIPTION OF MERCHANDISE : Baked butter cookies, packed in a round, decorative metal tin measuring aproximately 7 1/2 inches in diameter and 8 inches tall. An electronic musical chip is affixed to the inside and plays a tune whenever the container is opened. HTS PROVISION : Bread, pastry, cakes, biscuits and other bakers' wares...sweet biscuits...other HTS SUBHEADING : 1905.30.0040 RATE OF DUTY : free A copy of this ruling letter should be attached to the entry documents filed at the time this merchandise is imported.
