SUMMARY: This Guideline sets forth the administrative, programmatic, and financial requirements attendant to Fiscal Year 2010 State Justice Institute grants, cooperative agreements, and contracts. Final appropriations legislation for fiscal year (FY) 2010 is still pending. The House, Commerce, Justice and Science (CJS) Appropriations Bill (H.R. 2847) provides $5,131,000 for the Institute in FY 2010; the Senate Appropriations Committee CJS Mark provides $5,000,000. Regardless of the final amount provided to the Institute for FY 2010, the Institute's Board of Directors intends to solicit grant applications across the range of grant programs available.
