SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Case History On January 26, 2009, the Department received the petition for the imposition of countervailing duties filed in proper form by the petitioner. [ 1 ] This investigation was initiated on February 17, 2009. See Ni-Resist Piston Inserts From Argentina and the Republic of Korea: Initiation of Countervailing Duty Investigations, 74 FR 8054 (February 23, 2009) ( Initiation Notice ), and accompanying Argentina Initiation Checklist. [ 2 ] On March 20, 2009, the Department postponed the deadline for the preliminary determination by 65 days to no later than June 29, 2009.
