Ocean Common Carrier and Marine Terminal Operator Agreements Subject to the Shipping Act of 1984; Correction

The Federal Maritime Commission published in the Federal Register of March 8, 1999, a final rule amending its regulations governing agreements among ocean common carriers and marine terminal operators to reflect changes made to the Shipping Act of 1984 by the Ocean Shipping Reform Act of 1998. Inadvertently, internal references to part 572 were not revised to reflect the redesignation of that part as part 535. In addition, amendment to a section heading was overlooked in the instructions.
