Application To Amend Presidential Permits, The Detroit Edison Company

The Detroit Edison Company has applied to amend Presidential Permits PP-21 and PP-58 which authorized construction of electric transmission facilities that cross the U.S.-Canada border and connect to the Ontario Hydro electric system. Specifically, the application requests authority to install a phase- shifting transformer on the PP-21 facilities and to change the operating voltage of the PP-58 facilities from 345-kilovolts (kV) to 230-kV.
