Commerce Department, International Trade Administration
On July 8, 1996, the Department of Commerce (the Department) published the preliminary results of administrative reviews of the antidumping duty orders on antifriction bearings (other than tapered roller bearings) and parts thereof (AFBs) from France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Singapore, and the United Kingdom. The classes or kinds of merchandise covered by these orders are ball bearings and parts thereof (BBs), cylindrical roller bearings and parts thereof (CRBs), and spherical plain bearings and parts thereof (SPBs). The reviews cover 27 manufacturers/exporters. The period of review (the POR) is May 1, 1994, through April 30, 1995. Based on our analysis of the comments received, we have made changes, including corrections of certain inadvertent programming and clerical errors, in the margin calculations. Therefore, the final results differ from the preliminary results. The final weighted-average dumping margins for the reviewed firms are listed below in the section entitled ``Final Results of the Reviews.''
